Why We're Safe
10th April 2019
Patient safety is paramount to us, that’s why when you purchase from Instant eCare you know you are receiving genuine and safe medication. We ensure that all of our medication is sourced from trusted, leading UK pharmaceutical suppliers, including AAH, Trident and others. These same suppliers are the ones supplying the most well known high street pharmacies and large chains.
We are based in Cardiff, South Wales. All our stock is kept in-house at our pharmacy - if we say something is in-stock on our website, it’s right here in our pharmacy.
Our address is:307 Forgeside House, Cardiff Bay Business Centre, Cardiff, CF24 5FA.
Some of our prescribers are not based in Cardiff, and work remotely. However, rest assured that all our prescribers and pharmacists are all UK-based and are fully licensed and regulated by the GPhC.
When buying online, it may be easy to accidentally purchase from unlicensed sellers who do not use legitimate suppliers. That's why we make it clear on our website that we are a safe and licensed pharmacy, showing all of our registration credentials.
Make sure that you look out for the registered pharmacy logo. This GPhC issued logo provides reassurance, to you and all of our patients, that we meet the GPhC standards as a registered pharmacy.
And the EU Common Logo, accredited by the MHRA. The aim of this logo is to help members of the public to identify a website that can legally sell medicines, which of course - we are!
Falsified Medicines Directive
The Falsified Medicines Directive (FMD) is a newly introduced framework by the European Commission, designed to increase the safety and protection of those who need to take medication.
Falsified or fake medication puts patient safety at risk. Knowing you are not purchasing fake medication, is of course, a big deal… But isn't all medicine safe?
Offshore pharmacies that sell medication illegally without a prescription are unlikely to be compliant with the FMD, and you may be purchasing medication that is dangerous, counterfeit or unsuitable for you.
Always ensure you only use reputable online pharmacies that are registered with the GPhC or MHRA.
Despite fake medicines not historically being a major issue in the UK, the FMD adds an additional layer of security to process that was already very safe.
We can safely say we are compliant with the Falsified Medicines Directive, eliminating the risk of supplying fake medication to our patients. With our stock management process in place, we scan all of our medicines before they’re dispatched
Just one more reason to trust us.
Our excellent in-house UK patient support team is based at our Cardiff office. Rest assured, if you need to talk to us, our helpful team are on-hand to help you with any queries you may have. You can get in touch with them via phone, email and live chat.
We do not outsource our customer service, this means that when you pick up the phone or chat with online, your question will be answered and dealt with immediately by our trained, friendly and professional patient support advisors.
If you get stuck at any part of the process, our pharmacists are available to assist you or to give you information about your dispensed order.
