What is Tadalafil (Generic Cialis)?
Tadalafil is the generic version of the branded medication, Cialis. Tadalafil is used to treat erectile dysfunction in adult men. Because Tadalafil is the generic version of Cialis, it is a cheap Cialis alternative. You can either take a daily dose (2.5mg or 5mg) of Tadalafil or take it as and when you need it (10mg or 20mg).
If you think you will be engaging in sexual activity two or more times a week, you should be taking the Tadalafil (generic Cialis) daily dose (2.5mg or 5mg). However, if you anticipate sexual activity less frequently than twice a week, you should be taking the Tadalafil 36 hour dose (10mg or 20mg).
How does Tadalafil work?
Tadalafil (generic Cialis) contains the active ingredient Tadalafil which belongs to a group of medicines called phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors. These work to help relax the blood vessels in the penis following sexual stimulation. By relaxing the blood vessels, Tadalafil improves the flow of blood into the penis, ultimately resulting in improved erectile function.
How do you take Tadalafil?
The Tadalafil dosage is similar to the Cialis dosage. There is a different dosage for the different strengths. Always take this medication exactly as it has been prescribed to you by your GP or pharmacist.
Tadalafil Daily Dose
Take ONE tablet daily at the same time each day.
Tadalafil 2.5mg and Tadalafil 5mg are taken as a daily treatment for erectile dysfunction. If you would prefer to take Tadalafil (Generic Cialis) as and when you need it, you should consider switching to Tadalafil 10mg or Tadalafil 20mg. Always discuss any medication changes you wish to make with your doctor.
Tadalafil 36 Hour (10 & 20 mg)
Take ONE tablet at least 30 minutes before sexual activity.
Tadalafil 10mg and Tadalafil 20mg tablets are not intended to be taken daily. If you wish to have a daily erectile dysfunction treatment, you should discuss switching to Tadalafil 2.5mg or Tadalafil 5mg with your doctor.
How effective is Tadalafil in treating erectile dysfunction?
Tadalafil, like Cialis, is a clinically proven way of managing erectile dysfunction.
To ensure that you get the most out of Tadalafil, there are some additional precautions you should take. This includes avoiding alcohol if you plan to be sexually active. Alcohol can negatively impact the effectiveness of Tadalafil.
In addition, Tadalafil (Cialis) will not work if you are not sexually stimulated. Foreplay is an important part of achieving an erection when you are taking Tadalafil (generic Cialis).
What are the side effects of Tadalafil?
Like all medicines, Tadalafil (generic Cialis) can cause side effects, although not everyone will get them. Side effects are usually mild to moderate and only last a short period of time.
