ID Policy

For us to keep our patient protection promise we require further cooperation from our patients’. It’s essential that our patients are 100% safe when using our service. Therefore, for certain medication we will require you to verify your identity. This is to clarify that the patient requesting the order is indeed the person who intends to take the medication. You will also find that the NHS have implemented this, as a standard procedure, across their digital health and care services, you can read more about here.

We accept the following forms of photographic ID:-

  • Passport
  • UK driving licence (including provisional)
  • European driving licence
  • European national identity card

For certain treatments, a picture ID followed by a utility bill or birth certificate can be accepted, this is only if a patient does not own a government official photo ID. The final decisions will be at the prescribers discretion.

To confirm your identity, you will be required to supply a clear image of your ID, with the document number visible along with a second image of yourself holding the ID next to your face.

Please note, your photographic ID must be in-date within one year from the date of purchase. If you do not own photographic ID then we may request further proof, for the purpose of confirming your date of birth or address, these can either be; marriage certificate, utility bills, birth certificate, etc. Further proof requests will be on a case-by-case basis and our prescribers have the right to decline an order, based on their professional opinion and recommendation, at any point of the patients purchasing journey.

Please be aware this is a mandatory requirement, failure to provide photographic ID (or further proof of identity and address) will result in your order being declined with a full refund. There will be no exception to this rule. We’d like to thank all of our patients for their continued cooperation.

We also may disclose any personal information you provide to a credit reference agency, after consent is given. This is to confirm your identity; A soft credit check (also known as soft search) will be performed. This has no impact on your credit score or any future credit applications you might make and your credit rating will not be affected.
